The Sunday edit The kids edit: pink racquets and bedtime match pointsThree picks for after-school lessons, first swings, and tennis dreams. |
A note from Joshua Good morning, I’m on family vacation this week, which means my court time has mostly been spent on the sidelines watching the kids take lessons at the resort tennis center. They’re having the kind of fun that makes the game feel wonderfully simple: chase the ball, swing hard, laugh, repeat. My daughter carried that energy straight into the Wilson store, running around with her pink racquet and hitting nearly anything in sight. Watching them enjoy tennis without overthinking it made this week’s kids edit easy: one proper bag, one very pink first racquet, and pajamas for tennis dreams. |

The Sunday promise Three useful, charming picks that make tennis feel like part of a kid’s whole day, from school to the court to bedtime. |

The Park Tennis take STATE Bags Lenox Tennis BackpackDesigned for ages six and up, the 31.8-liter Lenox holds up to two 29-inch racquets in its padded rear compartment and has a separate shoe compartment. Kids are not gentle on bags, which is why this one earns the feature. STATE backpacks have held up in our family, and the Lenox is built for the real rhythm of junior tennis: school, lessons, snacks, a water bottle, unfinished homework, then the playground. It has real racquet storage without looking like miniature tour luggage. The other parents may ask where it came from. Consider this your answer. View at STATE Bags |
